What Are Dentures?
Dentures are custom-made replacements for your natural teeth and the surrounding tissues. There are several types of dentures. Conventional dentures are typically made of hard resin and they match your original teeth as closely as possible. Implant-supported dentures can also be made of Zirconia.
Dentures We Offer
Conventional Dentures
These traditional dentures. They are prosthetic devices that replace your missing teeth and are supported by the hard and soft tissues in our mouth. They fit nicely to the contours of your gums and are removable.
Snap-On Dentures
Snap-on removable dentures look like traditional dentures, but underneath, there are attachment points that clip onto dental implants. They do not slip or rock like traditional dentures, making it easier to eat and speak.
Implant-Supported Dentures
These are fixed dentures; only a dentist can remove them. They provide a lifelike feel and an attractive appearance. They need four dental implants as support. One of the advantages of implant-supported dentures is that they do not require as much bone mass as other types of dental implants.
Partial Dentures
We also offer removable partial dentures. We provide VALPLAST® flexible partial dentures as well as cast metal framework partials. Our partial dentures are made with high-quality materials and close attention to detail. Contact us to learn more about the best options for your specific situation.
Benefits of Dentures
Restore Chewing Ability
People with many missing teeth typically cannot chew all the foods they want to eat. Dentures restore your ability to eat what you like, including hard and crunchy foods.
Clear Speech
Losing teeth can make it difficult to speak. Dentures help to make speech clearer.
Easy to Clean
Fixed and snap-on dentures are easy to keep clean. Proper oral care habits can help to prevent complications.
Support Facial Muscles
Losing teeth can make the facial muscles appear sunken. Dentures help to support these muscles and give you a more youthful appearance.
Improve Appearance
With dentures, you will receive an entire arch of attractive teeth. You will no longer feel that you have to hide your smile.
Increase Self-Esteem
Missing teeth can make people feel extremely self-conscious about their appearance. They may feel a loss of self-esteem. Dentures improve this situation.
Are You a Good Candidate for Dentures?
Most patients with many missing or damaged teeth are good candidates for dentures. Patients need healthy gums and sufficient jawbone mass to receive dentures.
